DMCA & Copyright Policy

RedirectHub respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of the Service to do the same. This Copyright Policy explains our procedures for responding to notices of alleged copyright infringement in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (17 U.S.C. § 512) ("DMCA") and applicable international copyright laws.

1. Our Commitment to Copyright Compliance

RedirectHub is committed to complying with the DMCA and all applicable intellectual property laws. We take copyright infringement seriously and will respond expeditiously to notices of alleged infringement that comply with the DMCA.

As a condition of using the Service, users agree not to use the Service to infringe or facilitate the infringement of third-party intellectual property rights. We reserve the right to terminate access for repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances, as required by Section 512(i) of the DMCA.

2. International Copyright Compliance

In addition to complying with the DMCA, RedirectHub respects the intellectual property laws of other jurisdictions, including:

• European Union: Directive 2001/29/EC (EU Copyright Directive) and Directive (EU) 2019/790 (Digital Single Market Directive);
• United Kingdom: Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988, as amended;
• Canada: Copyright Act (R.S.C., 1985, c. C-42), as amended by the Copyright Modernization Act;
• Australia: Copyright Act 1968 (Cth);
• International: The Berne Convention for the Protection of Literary and Artistic Works and the WIPO Copyright Treaty.

If you are submitting a copyright infringement notice under a legal framework other than the DMCA, please follow the same procedure described below and note in your notice which law or jurisdiction applies. We will review all good-faith notices and take appropriate action.

4. Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you are a copyright owner or an authorized agent of a copyright owner, and you believe that any content accessible through the Service infringes your copyright, you may submit a written notice of copyright infringement ("DMCA Notice"). To be valid and effective, your notice must include all of the following information as required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3):

• Identify the copyrighted work.
  Provide a description or identification of the copyrighted work (or works) you claim has been infringed. If multiple works at a single site are covered by a single notification, you may provide a representative list of such works.
• Identify the infringing material.
  Provide specific identification of the material that you claim is infringing, including the exact URL(s) or other information reasonably sufficient to allow us to locate the material. General descriptions without specific URLs may prevent us from taking action.
• Provide your contact information.
  Include your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address so that we may contact you regarding your notice if necessary.
• Include a statement of good faith.
  Include the following statement: "I have a good faith belief that the use of the copyrighted material described above is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law."
• Include a statement of accuracy and authority.
  Include the following statement: "I swear, under penalty of perjury, that the information in this notification is accurate and that I am the copyright owner or am authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed."
• Sign the notice.
  Provide your physical or electronic signature. An electronic signature may consist of a typed name, a scanned signature image, or a statement such as "/s/ [Your Full Name]."

Please send your completed DMCA Notice to our designated agent using the contact information provided in Section 3. We recommend sending notices via email for the fastest response.

5. Our Response to DMCA Notices

Upon receiving a valid DMCA Notice, we will follow this process:

• Acknowledgment: We will acknowledge receipt of your notice within 5 business days;
• Evaluation: We will evaluate the notice for completeness and compliance with the DMCA requirements;
• Action: If the notice is valid, we will take appropriate action, which may include disabling access to or removing the allegedly infringing content or redirect path;
• Notification: We will notify the alleged infringer, where possible and legally permitted, of the notice and any action taken;
• Record-Keeping: We will maintain records of DMCA notices received for at least three (3) years as required by law.

6. Counter-Notification Procedure

If you believe that content was removed or disabled as a result of a DMCA notice that was submitted in error or based on a misidentification of the material, you may submit a counter-notification to our designated agent. A valid counter-notification must include:

• Your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address;
• Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and the location at which it appeared before it was removed or disabled;
• A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification;
• A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or if your address is outside the United States, for any judicial district in which RedirectHub may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original DMCA notice;
• Your physical or electronic signature.

Upon receiving a valid counter-notification, we will process it in accordance with 17 U.S.C. § 512(g). Please note that we may forward counter-notifications to the original complaining party.

7. Repeat Infringer Policy

In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable law, RedirectHub has adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, access to the Service for users who are deemed to be repeat infringers. We may also, at our sole discretion, limit access to the Service and/or terminate access for users who infringe the intellectual property rights of others, regardless of whether they are repeat infringers.

8. False Notices and Misrepresentation

Pursuant to 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing or that material was removed by mistake or misidentification may be subject to civil liability, including monetary damages, court costs, and attorneys' fees incurred by the alleged infringer, the copyright owner or its licensee, or RedirectHub. Please only submit DMCA notices for material you are authorized to address and that you genuinely believe to be infringing.

9. Limitation of Scope

RedirectHub operates as a link redirection intermediary and does not host, store, or serve the destination content to which our Service redirects. We do not have the ability to remove content hosted on third-party servers. Where destination content is allegedly infringing and resides on a third-party server, we will take appropriate action with respect to the redirect path on our platform. Copyright owners should also contact the hosting providers of destination sites directly to address content removal at the source.
